About Valerie Ann Larson Haynes

Empress Valerie is the founder of the Creative Empire, and is the author of the seminal work building the Creative Province structure, Creative Provinces: A New World of Enchanting and Empowered Communities.  Valerie has has a lifelong interest in organizing people to manifest their visions, and has been active in numerous groups to help people publish, perform, and display their works.

       Valerie studied political science at the University of Connecticut and began her career as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, then as a professional staff member of the U.S. House of Representatives Armed Services Committee. She later became an independent writer, editor, and publisher in the arts and sciences. In Creative Provinces, Valerie has combined her political and creative-organization ideas to form a powerful structure in which everyone can manifest their community visions to live the lives of their dreams.

      Valerie is also the author of New Colors, Poetic Creations and Paintings, (Illume, 2025) with her late twin brother, artist Vance A. Larson, and the modern fable, Doctor Goldbunny, book one of a trilogy story of the animal who becomes the Doctor of the Earth.
